This wingback chair I did as part of a training course in Minneapolis in 2019. The opportunity to work with top professionals was something I couldn’t miss out on! Since flying back to Alberta with a wingback wasn’t an option this chair was donated to a not for profit that helps individuals who were once homeless to move into new spaces. I was thrilled that this chair could be enjoyed by someone in need! The pink velvet on this chair presented its own unique set of issues as velvet is a moody fabric that wants to be handled just right. So much to learn!
